Organizing the Display of “Featured” Fields on the Contacts Page

Featured contact fields can appear as columns on the Contacts page, and you can control their left-to-right order by opening Contacts → Fields and dragging featured fields within the Featured section so the Contacts list shows the most important columns first.

Reorder Featured field columns in a few steps

If you just need the essentials, follow this:

  1. Open Contacts to view the Featured columns
  2. Go to Contacts → Fields
  3. In the Featured section, drag fields into the order you want
  4. Return to Contacts and refresh to confirm the new column order

You’re done. Your Contacts list will show featured columns in the order that best matches your workflow.

Step-by-Step Process

Understand how Featured columns are ordered

On the Contacts page, Featured contact fields appear as columns. By default, these columns are ordered left to right based on when the fields were created
(older fields first).

Open Manage Contact Fields

  1. Go to Contacts.
  2. Click Fields.

Drag and drop Featured fields into a new order

  1. On the Manage Contact Fields page, find the Featured section.
  2. Hover over a featured field, then click and drag it to the position you want.

Note: Only Featured fields can be reordered here. If a field isn’t marked as Featured, it won’t appear in the Featured list (and won’t show as a Contacts column).

Confirm the new order on the Contacts page

Return to Contacts and refresh the page to confirm the featured field columns are now reordered.

Common Issues & Quick Fixes

Problem: I don’t see a field in the Featured list.

Fix: The field is not marked as Featured. Go to Contacts → Fields, select the field, enable Featured, save, then return to reorder.

Problem: The order didn’t change on the Contacts page.

Fix: Refresh the Contacts page, then repeat the drag-and-drop and confirm the new order under Featured on the Fields page.
