Archiving a Campaign (Pausing Tracking)

Archiving a campaign pauses it without deleting it. An archived campaign stops sending messages or starting flows, but its events and settings remain saved so you can review or reactivate it later. Archiving only affects future executions—anything that already ran is not reversed.

Quick setup checklist

Use these steps to archive a campaign safely and confirm it is paused.

  1. Open the Campaigns section
  2. Select the campaign to archive
  3. Archive the campaign
  4. View archived campaigns
  5. Troubleshoot common issues

Open the Campaigns section

Click the Campaigns tab in the main navigation. You will see a list of active campaigns.

  • Navigate to Campaigns

Before you begin

  • The campaign must already exist
  • Archived campaigns do not run any events
  • Archiving does not delete campaign events or settings

Important: Archiving a campaign only affects future executions. Events that already ran are not reversed.

Select the campaign to archive

Locate the campaign you want to archive, then check the box to the left of the campaign name.

Archive the campaign

Click the Folder (archive) icon above the campaign list. The selected campaign is archived immediately.

Result

  • The campaign stops running immediately
  • No new campaign events will execute while it is archived
  • All campaign events and settings remain saved

View archived campaigns

Archived campaigns are stored separately from active campaigns. Stay on the Campaigns page, then click Archived in the left-hand sidebar.

After archiving

  • It no longer sends messages or starts flows
  • All campaign events and settings are preserved
  • The campaign can be reactivated later if needed

Common issues

I don’t see the archive icon

Possible cause: No campaign is selected.

Fix: Check the box next to a campaign before attempting to archive.

My campaign stopped sending messages

Explanation: The campaign was archived.

Fix: Reactivate the campaign if you want it to run again.

I archived the wrong campaign

Explanation: Archiving is reversible.

Fix: Go to Archived, select the campaign, and reactivate it.
