Using WhatsApp

To connect a WhatsApp channel to TextIt, you can utilize service providers like Twilio or 360Dialog.
Working with Message Templates
WhatsApp requires pre-approved message templates for communications outside the 24-hour messaging window. TextIt synchronizes these templates from your provider, enabling you to incorporate them into your flows. Remember that all templates must be authorized by your provider before they can be utilized.
Twilio’s Template Approach
Twilio’s WhatsApp implementation differs from other providers, as it doesn’t support direct template specification or synchronization. Instead, it employs dynamic message matching. To use templates successfully, your outgoing messages in TextIt must precisely correspond to an approved template in your Twilio account.
For your initial flow message, replicate the exact wording of an authorized template. Precise wording is crucial—even minor deviations may cause messages to fail delivery outside the permitted 24-hour period.
Interactive Buttons in Templates
You can enhance your templates with interactive buttons, also known as Quick Replies. This functionality is now available for WhatsApp templates, enabling you to direct users to specific actions or streamline feedback collection. These interactive elements add valuable functionality to your communication approach.
Please note that each button has a maximum character limit of 20.

- The body section contains your message content (limited to 1024 characters) and can incorporate saved variables such as contact names.
- The footer allows up to 60 characters, with Quick Replies displayed beneath it.
Sharing Stickers and GIFs

image/webp
format, with dimensions under 512×512 pixels and file size under 100KB for static stickers or 500KB for animated versions.
- The WhatsApp API does not support GIF images as a media format.
