Introduction to Campaigns

Campaigns let you time messages and workflows against a date that’s specific to each contact—for example, the date the contact was created or when they joined a group.
They’re commonly used for drip programs such as maternity health reminders, treatment-adherence prompts, or communications aligned with a product or service lifecycle.
Example: maternal health reminders for expecting mothers
In this setup, reminders are anchored to each contact’s due date. Recipients don’t get messages simultaneously; delivery is scheduled relative to their individual due dates.
In the illustration, every contact receives one message 2 weeks before and another 4 weeks after the Due Date.
How this differs from a scheduled broadcast
A “send later” Broadcast delivers to all chosen contacts or groups at the same time, whereas a campaign staggers delivery based on each person’s reference date.
