Configuring your Reply-to Email

The Rapidpro App automatically configures a default email address for messages sent from within flows. You can modify this reply-to address to a preferred email to receive correspondence from your contacts directly.
To begin, access your account settings and scroll to the section labeled Email sent from flow…:
Select this section, and a prompt will appear to modify the email details:
Complete each of the required fields and submit the form.
Email Address
You may select any email address of your choice.
SMTP Server Hostname
This is determined by your email service provider. Consult your provider’s documentation or online resources to identify the correct SMTP server.
Username
This will typically be your full email address (e.g., youremail@server.com).
Password
Enter the password associated with your email account.
Port
The appropriate port number can be found alongside your SMTP server information. You should select the TLS option for secure communication.

The final step is to click Save, which will finalize your reply-to email configuration:

Password not working?
If your email account utilizes two-factor authentication, you must generate a dedicated App Password to authorize third-party application access. In this scenario, input this App Password into the reply-to configuration within your **Rapidpro App** account—your standard email password will not be accepted.
