We frequently receive inquiries regarding group chat functionality on the Rapidpro App. Users are interested in creating a space where multiple contacts can exchange messages with both the platform and each other.

So, is it possible to create a group chat? No.

The Rapidpro App is not architected for that type of communication. Its core logic is designed to map messages directly between your workspace and an individual contact. While you can dispatch a Broadcast Message or initiate a Campaign to an entire group of contacts simultaneously, any responses will be directed solely back to your workspace and will not be shared among the group members.
