To begin, register for a Vonage account and configure a voice-capable telephone number.

After accessing your Vonage APIs dashboard, navigate to the Numbers section on the left panel, then proceed to Purchase Numbers.

Complete the provided steps to acquire a virtual number. Ensure you select the ‘Voice’ capability if you require voice functionality! We additionally suggest obtaining a toll-free number.

Next, access your TextIt workspace configuration page, and select the + New Channel button located in the upper-right corner of your display.

Scroll downward to locate the Vonage integration section.

If this represents your initial Vonage integration with this workspace, you will need to input the API credentials (key and secret) from your Vonage account’s settings page.

Following account integration, you will connect a telephone number. Choose the appropriate country from the dropdown menu to view available numbers. Please note that the ‘Pattern’ field is optional.
